Dear Mudskipper / Bradley, I heartily congratulate you on “Biggles and I”, which arrived safely yesterday and I am now devouring. It really is excellent, drawing in biography, history, geography, philosophy, facts, photos and of course Mr Bigglesworth and Co. I agree with Mr Roger Harris’ blurb — “I couldn’t put it down.” I’m nearly half-way through already. What a superb book collection seen on Page 66, rather eclipsing my little effort. Perhaps I have about two-thirds of the books, from a handful with nice dust jackets to three Oxfords without, three Deans, three Canelos, the Red Foxes, a couple of omnibuses and 20 or so variable paperbacks. I’ll try to find the lot, though it’s not so easy from Hungary and like you I hesitate with the Knight posed covers. I did write a little Biggles article myself for Canelo, although they failed to send me the promised two review books and now don’t answer emails.
